Theresians of Bangkok Thailand invite Theresians to join them for the 2008 International Theresian Conference. The conference will be held at the beautiful Baan Phu Waan Pastoral Training Center (http://www.geocities.com/phuwaan/main.html) just outside of Bangkok, October 17-19, 2008. During my recent visit to Bangkok to begin planning for the conference we had a lovely visit with Cardinal Michael Meechai, the Archbishop of Bangkok who gave us a warm welcome to his diocese. You won’t believe how beautiful the Pastoral Training Center is and we are thrilled that it is available to us. The gorgeous surroundings, generous Thai hospitality and comfortable rooms will make for a great venue for the conference. Bangkok is a beautiful city. You’ll have an opportunity to visit the Grand Palaces which offer the most unique architectural designs and most amazing mosaics. You’ll visit the river markets, an Elephant & Crocodile Farm and many other beautiful sites in Bangkok.
